Valley Church is a church that is growing families in their
relationships with Christ. Striving to bring the love of Jesus
to those of the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas.

WHAT WE BELIEVE.

  • In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
  • In one God, eternally existing in the three persons:
    the Father, Son, + Holy Ghost.
  • That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, + born of the Virgin Mary.
  • That Jesus was crucified, buried, + raised from the dead.
  • That He ascended to Heaven + is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
  • That all have sinned + come short of the glory of God.
  • That repentance is commanded by God for all + necessary for forgiveness of our sins.
  • In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, + by the Holy Ghost.
  • Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.
  • In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
  • In the baptism with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance + that initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
  • In water baptism by immersion, +and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, the son, + the Holy Ghost.
  • Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
  • In the Lord’s Supper + washing of the saints’ feet.
  • In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead + cast away the living saints to Him in the air.
  • Second, to reign on the earth for a thousand years.
  • In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, + eternal punishment for the wicked.
  • That justification, regeneration, + the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

LEAD PASTOR.

Jason & Suzy Cook

Pastor Jason + Suzy Cook have served for over 25 years in ministry together.  Being a former teacher and working with special needs children, Suzy has a passion for pouring into mothers + children. Prior to pastoring, Pastor Jason was a physical education teacher and coach. He has a Bachelors in Education from Radford University, a Masters in Education from Virginia Tech, and a Doctorate in Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. Pastor Jason has a heart for helping people and he enjoys ministering to the younger generation through sports and coaching. Pastor Jason was born and spent most of his childhood in West Virginia. His family moved to Roanoke when he was a teenager, where he met Suzy who was born and raised in Roanoke.

Together they have 3 beautiful children. Noah, their 1st born, is newly married to wife, Madison. Noah is a graduate of Liberty University and Virginia Military Institute, where he played baseball. Scottie is their middle daughter who is attending Lee University where she is a member of the volleyball team. Swisher is the youngest in the Cook clan and he loves working in Children’s ministry, playing baseball, and basketball.

The Cook family is proud to call Roanoke their home. They love being a part of Valley church because it
feels like family.

When you arrive turn your flashers on and let one of our parking lot ministry members know
its your first time with us. We have saved a parking space just for you! They will direct you to our visitor parking.
