Pastor Cory & Rebekah Barnes
Cory and Rebekah have led worship together since their marriage in 2009. Their favorite part of worship is watching the Holy Spirit take over and getting lost in His presence. They also both have a heart for missions and outreach, and love sharing the love of Jesus with those who are outside of the walls of the church. Cory and Rebekah have 3 beautiful and creative children. Elighja 19, Kenleigh 9 & Kallai 6, and are also foster parents.
Their children love the Lord and enjoy being involved in ministry at Valley Church. They all are excited about sharing the gospel of Jesus with all of those whom the Lord may place in their home.
At Valley Church, we believe that the Worship Team is a vital part to the ministry of this body of believers. We desire to experience the presence of God, to see souls saved and lives changed at every worship service.
The purpose and mission of the Worship Squad is to change the atmosphere by creating a culture of dynamic praise and genuine worship. Our worship is not a response to a feeling. It’s a response to the Love of God.
The Valley Choir is a collective group of worshippers who love to sing and set an example of true worship. We currently minister 4-6 times a year on Sundays and will typically rehearse 2-3 Wednesdays leading up to the Sunday in which we minister.
